There are lovely views from the windows and private garden of this meticulously presented, semi-detached, holiday cottage, next to the owner’s house.
There is a pretty walk along the nearby old canal and the River Kent into the market town of Kendal (3 miles) where great facilities are plentiful.
Many wonderful Lake District attractions within a short drive include the Beatrix Potter Exhibition, Aquarium of the Lakes and cruises on Lake Windermere. For walkers the high fells beckon, with stunning views from the summits.
Shop and pub only 1/2 mile away.
